Update on Mike Frattarelli, Assistant Golf Professional

On Thursday August 6, 2012, Spring Run’s Assistant Golf Professional, Mike Frattarelli, was taken to the hospital complaining of chest pains. Thankfully, EMS responded quickly and got him to Gulf Coast Hospital right away.

Mike has gone through a series of cardiac tests and blood work.  The tests show some heart tissue and liver damage, and it appears that he will need surgery to insert a stent in his heart.

Preliminary reports are that he will be out of work for approximately 6 to 8 weeks. Currently he is in the Cardiac Care unit at Gulf Coast Hospital in Fort Myers.  When he is moved to a private room or we have further information we will be sure to let you know. If you have further questions, feel free to contact Joe Allinder or Mike Zigler.

We wish Mike a speedy recovery and good health going forward. We look forward to his return, hopefully sometime in late October or early November.
