Recently, some residents have complained that their printers stop working after Century Link has installed the new modem in their units. I contacted Century Link and was told that if this happens, you will need to re-run the setup wizard for your printer. During this process, you will need to enter the new WEP number listed on the new modem provided by CenturyLink. This should fix the issue going forward. They apologized for not providing this information prior to the switch-out. Century Link is in the process of a community-wide conversion throughout Spring Run that will allow our Residents to receive video signals to their TV.
In the event that you experience a problem resulting from work Century Link has done during this conversion, you may contact Century Link at (239) 596-6220 and they will notify the onsite Supervisor, Chuck O’Donnell to get it fixed.
