I am pleased to announce the hiring of our new Head Golf Professional at Spring Run, Mr. Jeffrey B. Carter, PGA Class A. Jeff will be starting his new position on Monday, October 13^th, after leaving Quail West where working for the past 6 years. Born and raised in Wise, Virginia, Jeff moved to South Florida to compete on the Space Coast Mini Tour shortly after graduation.  While competing, Jeff also graduated from Edison State College and made the decision to move into Golf Operations at Bent Pine Golf Club in Vero Beach, FL. In 1988, he became a Class “A” PGA Professional while working at Hobe Sound Golf Club in Hobe Sound, FL.  He since has been privileged to work at other prestigious clubs in the area such as Williams Island Country Club, Quail West Golf & Country Club and Pelican’s Nest Golf Club.  Jeff has remained active in the PGA both professionally and competitively, earning many accolades along the way.  He actively participates on the PGA President’s Council and is currently obtaining Certified Professional status.  Jeff lives in Estero with his wife Wendy, their daughter Taban and his two sons Justin and Jordan, and enjoys playing golf, fishing, traveling, and family time.
