Dear Spring Run Member,
I wanted to let you know that our 1st Assistant Professional, Pat LaPointe, will be leaving Spring Run next week to take a new job at Heritage Bay. Pat has been with us since 2006, and we are certainly sorry to see him go. Always quick with a hearty good morning, a funny comment, or a helpful golf tip, Pat will be missed. We wish him all the best in this new opportunity, and encourage you to stop in the Shop before he leaves Wednesday to say farewell. Fortunately, we are looking at some new shop associates and even a female assistant professional to fill his shoes, but Pat was one of a kind! If you have questions, please feel free to give me a call or reply to the post.
Mike
Why not Mike Fratattelli
Mike is currently in charge of Outside Operations, including Starters and Rangers. This is a big job, in addition to his duties in the Pro Shop and giving lessons. We are not replacing Pat’s position at the moment. After Season, Jeff and I will evaluate everyone’s performance and promote people accordingly. We had been thinking all fall about bringing in a female assistant or teaching pro for the ladies, in addition to Pat and Mike. Mike does a fabulous job for the Club and we value him very much.
I am really going to miss Pat! Fun and always with a smile! I have to say our pro shop has really changed sad to say!!!

We always enjoyed the friendly conversations we shared with Pat LaPointe, whenever we passed through the golf shop. Pat’s friendly demeanor, professionalism and helpful assistance in delivering anything that we needed made for a more enjoyable experience in playing golf at Spring Run.
May the roads rise up to meet you in your future journeys, Pat. And the wind be always at your back.
We will miss you, Pat. Your professionalism and easy sense of humor made it fun to go into the pro shop. Best of everything to you – Spring Run is losing a valuable employee.
We are thinking of moving to Heritage Bay – ha!
We will miss Pat greatly. He was a terrific instructor and a friendly helpful presence in the pro Shop! We only wish him the best .

I will miss Pat for many reasons, including his excellence as a teaching pro. We will both miss him for his helpfulness and good cheer with any and all assistance required in the pro shop. The place won’t be the same without him.
