Dear Spring Run Member,

I thought I would keep you informed regarding the alligator that has often been spotted along #10 – #12 in and around the pond and preserve. Although it has been a couple months since we have seen it, we did contact a licensed trapper to come out and remove it  following several sightings over the summer. The concerns were that it had become too comfortable around humans, and was no longer afraid. The trapper told us he could not find it, but indicated he would return when we see it again. It may have left the property through the underwater pipes that go throughout the Brooks, but that doesn’t mean it won’t come back again. Therefore, if you happen to see this gator, please contact the office to let us know, and we will take appropriate action.
